BUTLER posted by Denise on Thursday, November 30, 2000

I am looking for information on Charles BUTLER. From what I know, he was born May 12, 1826 in the state of New York, and that his father is listed as being Asa H. Butler, a native of New England. I am wondering if Charles could possibly be the brother of John S. BUTLER, who lived in Chesterfield Township. (Whose father was also a Asa H. Butler) From what I have read John S. BUTLER's mother died when he was young, and I know that Charles mother died when he was young also. John would be two years older than Charles if they are brothers. Does anyone know if these two people could be related? Charles and his wife Emma had a son with the name of John S., so I am thinking that maybe they could be brothers. Their father's name is the same name and both were born in New York. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you in advance. Denise. You can e mail me at Vikemom8@aol.com Thanks
