DUNCAN, at home, 3 years old, born in Michigan Robert P. DUNCAN, at home, 2 years old, born in Michigan On July 3, 1854 John DUNCAN, Jr. purchased land in Gun Plain Twp., Allegan Co., and the part of this land was in the family until my grandmother sold it in the mid 1980's. Mary Agnes was my great-great grandmother, she was born in Northfield, Summit Co., Ohio per info in a birth record for one of her children. John Jr's parents were John and Elizabeth (MCLEAN) DUNCAN, who lived in Summit Co. before moving to Otsego Twp., Allegan Co., Michigan in 1851. Mary's death record had her mother's name as Jeanette MUIR. Her brother Robert Perry's death record had Jennette MORRIS, there were two younger sister's, Hannah Ann and Ruth Mariah, but no name was given in their death records. Have not found records for William Maclain, John E., & Josiah Gates as of this date. I did find a marriage record for Josiah G. in Berrien Co., Michigan and it had his birthplace as Delta, Ohio. I know a portion of Delta is in Swan Creek Twp..

JONES, PACKER, PROUDFOOT, PURRITTEN, TURRITTEN, TURRITTIN posted by Pamela P Reinhart on Saturday, October 4, 1997

My PROUDFOOT ancestors went from Seneca to Wood to Fulton and Lucas Counties, and some to Michigan. The surnames I am searching for in Fulton and Lucas are: PROUDFOOT, TURRITTIN (or variations TURRITTEN / PURRITTEN), and JONES and PACKER. The first two names are not very common, so if you find any reference I feel confident they are relatives. For JONES, I am specifically looking for Jay E and Ida May, or their children Roscoe Leroy and Marcella Leona. I know that Marcella Leona married Clarence Levi PACKER. Specifically, looking for, PROUDFOOT (1850-1920), TURRITTEN (and variations- 1870 and later), Ephrium Jenkins (1880 and later), Jay E. Jones (1900 and later), and Clarence Levi Packer (1920).

BROWN, REYNOLDS posted by Pat Walker on Tuesday, October 7, 1997

Looking for any information on John REYNOLDS, his wife Rachel, and their children Roswell REYNOLDS and Ruth REYNOLDS BROWN. According to "Some Pioneers of Fulton County", "John REYNOLDS and his wife Rachel must have died somewhere near the Johnson Cemetery. His grave should be found and marked, as a soldier in the Revolution." I am particularly interested in the burial/gravesite information on John and Rachel REYNOLDS. Has this gravesite ever been located?
