of Grant Yarnell stated that one of the boys leaning against the tree in the background was her father Grant Yarnell. This can not be so as Grant was born in 1867 and Barney in 1878. Grant was the younger brother of Barney's mother, Sarah (Yarnell) Oldfield. These 2 boys are obviously younger than Barney, the driver of the car above. I enlarged the 2 boys to get a better look. They may be part of the family or just a couple of curious onlookers?? Photo above |
