The Clarence Seigneur home shortly after it was moved and before the wrap-around porch was added.  Emma Whitcomb and daughter, Bertha, are in the foreground with a hired girl.  This house originally was the office and main building of Dr. Samuel Bell Finney's herbal medicine complex that flourished from 1865 until about 1900.  It was located about 1/4 mile west of Winameg.  There was a U.S. Post Office in Winameg for quite some time, mostly due to the volume of mail Dr. Finney's business generated.
