MRS. MARY E. WHITE
DIES IN CHICO
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth
White, well known resident of Chico, died at her home at 817 Ivy street,
Monday night at the age of 72 years.
Surviving her are
her husband, C.E. White of Chico, two sons, W.E. White of Chico and R.D.
White of San Franciso and several brothers and sisters in Ohio.
The funeral services
will be private, under the auspices of the Christian
Science church,
and will be held at the Engle parlors at 7:30 this evening.
The body will be
shipped to Matamoras, Ohio for burial.

The village of Whiteville.
It was located in the northeast of the northeast one-quarter of Section
7, Amboy Twp Fulton Co., OH and can further described as being at the intersection
of Reighard-Whiteville Rd. and State Route 120. The Toledo and Western
Railroad passed through the town.
The Whiteville Post
Office was established on February 1, 1901 with Elmer WHITE as Postmaster.
It remained in operation until March 15, 1910 when mail service was transferred
to Metamora.
